Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in tax controversy matters, including IRS audits, appeals, and litigation
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on strategic tax planning and dispute resolution
- Draft briefs, motions, legal memoranda, and advise on litigation risk
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, co-counsel, and government agencies
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant tax controversy experience, including administrative proceedings and / or litigationExcellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsStrong academic background from a top-tier law schoolLLM in Taxation preferred, but not requiredMust be admitted to the New York Bar or eligible for admissionCompensation
