Respected, growing, leading global Biopharmaceutical company a seeks a Senior Sales Representative (Dermatology Specialist) to promote their prescription Immunology products to Dermatologists in the East Bay / San Jose South territory (see Territory Info in the Key Points section below).
This senior-level representative will have a special focus on high-volume accounts. The company’s Dermatology division has several ground-breaking new prescription products for a number of Immunology-related conditions.
The firm has a strong heritage in Research and Development, a rich and innovative product pipeline, and a patient-centric culture that is woven into all aspects of the organization.
Position Description (Brief Overview-Partial)
- Develop a strong understanding of the journey of care and unique needs of patients
- Attain sales goals, reach and frequency, product volume, and other key objectives
- Drive product demand, engage and build relationships with clinical decision makers and office staff
- Understand the local payor environment, pharmacy benefits
- Navigate through challenges and barriers to patient access
- Maintain a keen understanding of the competitive landscape
- Demonstrate in-depth clinical / business expertise and effective selling skills
- Embody and demonstrate the consistent application of the values of a patient-centered culture
- Collaborate with Reimbursement Managers, National Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, and MSLs
- Work in total compliance at all times
Qualifications / Requirements (Brief Overview-Partial)
- 3-5+ years selling experience in Pharmaceutical or Biologic products
- Current / very recent successful promoting Immunology products ideal
- Able to discuss clinical therapies to inform, add value, and influence decision makers
- Experience with Reimbursement and Managed Care
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience with Dermatology products a plus
- Product launch experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
