DIRECTOR OF AFTERMARKET STRATEGY- MARINE
My client is a leading component solutions provider of products and building materials for recreational vehicles including the marine industry.
Their marine brands provide their customers like manufacturers, retail centers, dealers, consumers, and aftermarket parts providers with a full suite of high-quality interior and exterior materials, personalized customer service, and experienced product innovation and design consultation.
They need a Director of Aftermarket Strategy. The Director will collaborate across brands and business units to develop and implement a cohesive go to market strategy (GTM).
This includes researching and analyzing which channels best serve each brands customers and how to maximize sales and profits for each brand in each channel while maintaining and building brand equity.
It will include target market profiles, a marketing plan and a sales and distribution strategy.
What You Will Do
- Learn each brand and business unit.
- Collaborate with brand and business unit leaders to develop good working relationships.
- Research current GTM plans and identify opportunities.
- Research customer base to learn their preferred purchase channel.
- Develop a corporate Go To Market Strategy (GTM) and a tailored version for each brand.
- Collaborate across brands and business unit to implement and monitor.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of multi-channel experience in distribution, mass retail, dealer, DTC and 3P Platforms.
- 5+ years of recreational products industry experience, marine and / or powersports preferred.
- 5+ years of aftermarket products sales, product development and distribution experience.
- 5+ years of branding and marketing experience.
- Proven Go To Market Strategy Expertise
- Bachelors in sales and marketing and / or MBA preferred.
- Boat loads of communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
