Job Summary

As a Junior Estimator, you will assist with takeoffs, bid preparation, subcontractor / vendor solicitation, and project cost analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic construction knowledge who is eager to learn the art of estimating in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for carpentry, casework, countertops, and general scopes.
• Assist in preparing and organizing bid packages and proposals.
• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors; maintain quote logs.
• Use estimating software and spreadsheets to compile bid details.
• Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Maintain organized project folders and bid documentation.
• Support senior estimators in budgeting and value engineering efforts.
