Senior Copywriter
MRM is looking for a Senior Copywriter who has experience writing for a wide range of brands. You’ll be responsible for ideation, concept development, and implementation of creative copy across multiple channels for multiple brands.
You’re an excellent brand steward and storyteller who uses their words to craft stronger customer experiences and relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own a project from conception through completion
- Demonstrate a strong command of the structure of language, both formal and informal
- Write compelling copy for a variety of clients and audiences
- Capable of writing : long form, headlines, calls-to-action, brand manifestos, scripts or concepts
- Partner with art director to brainstorm and develop strategically sound creative concepts
- Collaborate with other teams and external vendors to bring creative vision to life.
- Produce work for a range of online and offline mediums print, digital, social, video, experiential, and mobile
- Present ideas clearly internally and to clients
- Seek creative opportunities beyond expected duties
- Mentor and manage junior writers
- Take direction from the Creative Director while continuing to learn
- Take part in new business pitches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- 4+ years of copywriting experience
- Polished portfolio of your work
- Strong grammar and communication skills
- Production experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
