Rebecca School is an independent, private therapeutic day school for children ages 3 to 21, promoting the education and development of children with neurodevelopmental delays of relating and communicating, including autism spectrum disorders. Rebecca school was founded in 2006 and utilizes the DIRFloortime model (Developmental, Individual-difference, Relationship-based) developed by Stanley Greenspan, M.D.

Help students with special needs build life skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive school environment.
Your Role as a Special Education Paraprofessional
Assist students with academic tasks, social interactions, adaption daily living skills, and emotional regulation to create a structured, supportive learning environment.
Observe student behavior, document notes, and collaborate with the team to adjust support strategies to help students meet their goals.
Assist students with toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene to foster independence and confidence in daily activities.
Intervene when necessary, using de-escalation techniques, and calming strategies.
Work closely with educators, therapists, BCBAs, and parents to provide consistent, individualized support.
