We are seeking a skilled PLC Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high speed equipment, Allen Bradley, Micro Logic, SLC, Control Logic and PLC Programming. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to effectively support our operations.
Duties
- Install and maintain high speed industrial process equipment for filling machines, power, control and logic circuits for all production process and support equipment
- Troubleshoot, adjust and repair all electrical equipment, solid state circuits, components, logic boards, transducers and complex timing and inspection devices
- Handled preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems, production equipment, and facility as required
- Work on various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting and repairing production equipment to meet specifications
- Oversee new installations from design prints and instructions, diagnose and troubleshoot on PLC and standard ladder logistic diagrams
Skills
Proficient in hydraulics, mechanical knowledge, and industrial electrician experienceStrong understanding of E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principlesExperience with CNC machinery and high voltage systems is preferredAbility to work with various electrical tools including ohmmeters and calibration devicesExcellent troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical contextsStrong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team membersMilitary experience is valued but not required; however, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards in all tasks performed
