About the Role

PeopleShare is seeking a Dispatcher / Route Coordinator for a fast-paced office environment in Arlington, TX! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, communication, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for creating daily routes for drivers, managing delivery schedules, and coordinating with both internal and external customers to ensure all routes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Create, assign, and manage daily delivery routes for drivers to optimize time and costs.

Communicate ETA updates and delivery information to internal teams and external customers.

Ensure accurate completion and closure of route paperwork and related documentation.

Update and maintain delivery data in Oracle systems and provide shipping notifications.

Collaborate with Sales, Order Processing, and Delivery Drivers to ensure on-time service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Minimum of 1 year of customer service or dispatch experience in a fast-paced office setting.

Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Basic computer proficiency and 10-key typing skills.

Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work collaboratively with various departments.

Work Environment

Office-based role with no physical labor required.

Professional and friendly workplace with free parking provided.

Normal office conditions : adequate lighting, ventilation, and moderate noise levels.

Work may involve light movement such as standing, bending, or carrying small office materials (under 10 lbs).
