Overview
Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are relationship-driven professionals in a key customer-facing role. CSRs are the primary link between Gateway and veterinary partners, building lasting relationships, managing customer needs, and resolving challenges with professionalism and compassion. This role involves transportation as part of the job, engaging with clinics and communities, and representing Gateway with care and integrity.

Relationship management : serve as the primary point of contact for veterinary clinics on your routeBuild and maintain strong relationships with clinic staff to ensure satisfaction and efficiencyEducate clients on services, answer questions, and address concerns promptlyAddress inquiries or concerns raised by clinic employees regarding service quality and operational efficiencyEnsure clinics receive prompt and professional support for all pet aftercare needsService delivery
Address service issues proactively and escalate concerns when necessaryEducate clinics on company services, policies, and proceduresEnsure safe and respectful collection of all pets from veterinary clinicsAnticipate clinic needs to ensure high-quality serviceMaintain all proper documentation and tracking for all pets entrustedAssist with administrative tasks related to client accounts, including billing inquiries and service modificationsFollow safety guidelines, adhere to policies, and maintain vehicle and equipment standardsMaintain best-in-class service standards including uniform and vehicle cleanlinessA positive and welcoming attitude is essentialProduct and Service Promotion
Educate clinic staff on new product launches and available merchandise for pet parentsDistribute authorized marketing materials to clinics and keep product information up to dateIdentify potential sales leads and refer them to the Business Development ManagerMonitor inventory levels of promotional materials and request replenishments as neededKey Performance Indicators
Grow revenue from existing clinicsExpand services and products within the routeRetain clinic partnerships and maintain high satisfaction (Client Attrition Rate & Net Promoter Score)Minimize customer complaints and ensure on-time, exceptional serviceEducation, Training & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in customer service, account management, or sales / route sales is desirableProficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking toolsAbility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededBasic math and computer skills for order placement and inventory trackingValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSkills and Abilities
