Position Summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing corporate and global compliance operations. This role ensures that the company's activities align with domestic and international laws, industry regulations, client contractual obligations, and internal policies. The Compliance Manager will support cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence while facilitating process improvements and documentation across various functions, including HR, payroll, international operations, insurance, and vendor compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls, procedures, and compliance policies.
- Review and interpret laws, regulations, and client requirements, applying them to internal processes.
- Coordinate and perform compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews.
- Evaluate procedural documentation, perform testing, and ensure remediation.
- Track compliance metrics and report findings to leadership.
- International Compliance (GEOR)
- Manage branch and payroll registration processes in international jurisdictions .
- Coordinate global employment documentation such as certificates, BOD, POA, and apostille requirements.
- Monitor international labor laws and provide counsel to TG, HR, and operations teams.
- Assist in onboarding foreign national employees and standardizing employment contracts per country.
Insurance & Benefits Compliance
Maintain corporate insurance policies, renewals, and audits (WC, cyber, liability, DBA, Cigna, etc.).Track and update COIs for clients.Support the HR team in managing international insurance documentation.Financial & Contract Compliance
Review and track payroll cost estimates for international employees.Support accounting team in billing accuracy and contract compliance.Ensure supplier engagement letters are in place and fees align with agreements.Audit invoice data against contractual terms and manage client responses when needed.Documentation & Policy Management
Maintain SharePoint repositories for corporate and client documents.Ensure standard templates for international contracts, country reference sheets, and cost breakdowns.Support proposals team by retrieving documentation and ensuring document accuracy.Relationships with Others' Jobs (Internal and External) :

Accounting & Finance – Coordinate on payroll billing, invoicing, cost estimates, and audit reviews.HR & Talent Gateway – Support onboarding, EEO compliance, WC insurance, and benefit documentation.Proposal & Strategy Teams – Provide corporate documentation and compliance input for bids.Executive Leadership – Advise on legal, regulatory, and operational compliance.External
Clients & Vendors – Ensure contractual compliance, insurance verification, and documentation exchange.Global Suppliers – Collaborate on international employment, labor law interpretation, and payroll setup.Government Agencies – Respond to audit and verification requests (e.g., SAM.gov, E-Verify, state regulators).Qualifications : Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Legal Studies, Compliance, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.Working knowledge of U.S. and international labor laws.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe, and compliance portals.Preferred
Experience with GEOR (Global Employer of Record) operations.Experience with international entity registrations and foreign payroll systems.Familiarity with HRIS and accounting software (e.g., Avaza , EGL).Certifications such as CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) or equivalent.Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.Ability to attend virtual or in-person meetings across time zones.Occasional domestic or international travel may be required .Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
