Position Overview :

As a receptionist at G.R. Little Agency, Inc., you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our office.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively.

You will be responsible for managing phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet clients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide information about our agency and services to clients and visitors.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and ordering as needed.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence and client outreach.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and organized at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Assist clients by taking premium payments and routing to the appropriate insurance company.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus but not required.
