Job Summary

Assist in the administration of project safety and accountability program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

This posting is to gather a qualified pool of candidates as the need arises to hire for various industrial construction projects across the United States.

Once an opening occurs, we will reach out to qualified candidates.

Essential Functions

  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."
  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values.
  • Conduct regular walk through inspections of work areas.
  • Conduct new or re-hire Safety Orientation, maintenance training and other safety training as required.
  • Identify, document and recommend resolution of hazardous and potential hazardous conditions; and provides follow through to insure corrections have been made.
  • Investigate personal injury, property damage or near miss accidents.
  • Compiles data, photographs and prepares all pertinent forms and reports in accordance with program procedures and federal, state and local regulations associated with accidents and near misses.
  • Removes employees from unsafe working environments and actions, including stopping work if necessary.
  • Conducts various industrial hygiene samplings, such as benzene, air sampling and noise testing to insure safe working conditions.
  • Assists in all required training.
  • Communicates safety concerns to supervisor and appropriate field supervision.
  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Perform all other job related duties as requested by supervision.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

Educational and experience requirements include : Four year occupational safety and health degree or equivalent combinations of technical training or industrial related safety experience.

Thorough understanding of all federal, state and company regulations. Ability to recognize hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures essential.

Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
