HTI is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) for a well-established manufacturer in the high-speed food production industry. This position will focus on designing and managing capital and plant improvement projects that enhance performance, reduce waste, and improve reliability . This position is Direct Hire , M-F 1st shift . Thepay range is $110,000-$125,000, depending on experience.

What You Need :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical degree / experience)Experience with electrical and mechanical system design - including small pump systemsAbility to design systems from the ground up and / or modify existing drawingsUnderstanding of general electrical drawings and schematicsMinimum 2+ years of experience in project engineering, plant engineering, or related rolesBackground in high-speed manufacturing environmentsExperience with controls, automation, and instrumentation systems5+ years in an automated manufacturing environmentExperience in a GMP manufacturing settingWhat Your Role Will Look Like :
The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and supporting engineering projects related to plant improvements, capital installations, and production efficiency. This individual will collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Design and manage capital and improvement projects for equipment, processes, and facilitiesCollaborate with Controls Engineers to support electrical and instrumentation upgradesDevelop, modify, and manage electrical drawings and system designsProvide technical support for new product innovation opportunitiesPartner with cross-functional teams to analyze performance data and drive resultsManage contractors and OEMs during equipment installation and commissioningPromote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and company policiesContribute to ongoing continuous improvement and process optimization initiativesAbout HTI
