DB2 Database Administrator

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the maintenance and compliance of software and DB2 environments, ensuring they meet rigorous security standards as outlined by the STIG and / or SRG. Your expertise will help us keep crucial systems secure and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure software and DB2 environments meet compliance standards, including applying necessary security patches and maintaining documentation.
• Provide exceptional technical support to customers regarding database software on DISA mainframe systems, including changes and upgrades. Generate reports for the COR on customer inquiries.
• Install, customize, upgrade, and maintain DB2 Software on z / OS mainframe platforms, participating in database migrations and application software upgrades.
• Utilize departmental SOPs to ensure work is performed according to documented procedures, including ticketing and change requests.
• Employ SMP / E to install and manage software on IBM Mainframe platforms running z / OS.

Education and Skills Required :

IAT Level 1 : Must possess one of the following certifications :

Security Clearance : Secret, IT-I
