About the Position

Job Title :  MRI Technician

Location :  Galveston, TX 77550

Duration :  13 weeks

Shift :  12-Hour Night Shift (Friday – Sunday, 8 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours :  36 hours per week

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Galveston, TX. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced interventional and diagnostic MRI procedures and must be experienced in imaging the head, cardiac, prostate, and breast.

Responsibilities :

Operate Siemens and GE MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes

Perform advanced interventional MRI procedures

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate imaging and patient care

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, preferably using EPIC electronic health records system

Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols during all procedures

Participate in on-call and float duties as required by the unit’s needs

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of MRI technician experience, with advanced proficiency in specialized MRI procedures

Certification : ARRT-MR or ARMRIT required

Current AHA BLS certification

Experience with EPIC (highly preferred)

Familiarity with Siemens and GE MRI systems

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Friday – Sunday)

Strong communication and patient care skills
