As a Contract Hardware Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of hardware projects encompassing doors, frames, hardware packages, and integrated card access systems, along with coordinating overhead door installations and turn-key solutions. Your role will involve managing project timelines, procurement releases, and vendor relations to ensure efficient material ordering, delivery, and billing aligned with construction schedules and budget requirements. Conducting site visits to assess readiness, verifying existing conditions, and overseeing installations will be crucial, along with maintaining detailed project records and managing change orders for profitability. Your ability to build strong relationships with contractors, architects, and vendors, coupled with proficiency in construction document management and software utilization, will contribute to the seamless delivery of projects and the implementation of new industry-related systems.

Duties / Responsibilities :
Manages awarded projects and oversees procurement of materials in alignment with construction schedules.Coordinates ordering, delivery, and billing of materials based on project timelines and vendor quotations.Collaborates with the service department for the installation of card access systems, overhead doors, and pre-installation of hardware.Conducts site visits to assess readiness for material installation and verify existing conditions.Verifies and measures existing frames for hardware and door installations.Inspects onsite doors and hardware to ensure seamless integration with new products.Reviews project status monthly to assess billing capacity and coordinates material approvals and deliveries.Manages vendor quotes and project costs to ensure profitability.Communicates effectively with general contractors, architects, and building owners to facilitate project success.Cultivates positive relationships with product representatives and manufacturer staff.Prices and processes change orders as necessary.Enters project details into detailing and procurement software for smaller projects and maintains contract updates and supporting documentation.Downloads, prints, and modifies pdf construction documents as required.Supports the launch of new industry-related software systems and provides company-wide training.
