About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Pediatric ICU

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have : 2 years minimum PICU experience.

Appreciated : TNCC Certification

Description :

General Pediatric ICU setting.

PALS and BLS certifications are required.

2 years minimum experience in PICU is necessary.

Working schedule will meet the needs of the unit.

Must work 50% of holidays during the contract period.

Patient care includes managing respiratory illnesses, sepsis, postoperative surgical patients, hematology oncology care, and renal transplants.

Common procedures involve administration of blood products, ventilator management, and care for ventilated patients.

Daily patient ratios for days and nights are 2-3 and 2 respectively.

Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.

Floating may be required to different units.

Candidates should have experience with the Cerner charting system.

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
