Sales Representative
Prospects, sells and supports wireless systems for general commercial and government accounts. Essential functions include prospecting for sales opportunities via various means, compiling lists of prospective customers for sales leads, attending customer meetings to discuss sales solutions, making site and facility visits to observe and determine communication needs, preparing and presenting sales proposals to customers, working with supervisor and credit manager to quote prices and prepare sales agreements, estimating date of delivery to customer, training new customers in use of equipment, preparing monthly forecasts, sales plan, sales funnel and sales results and annual forecast reports, planning sales calls and identifying the single sales objective, entering new customer data and other sales data into computer database, developing and maintaining relationships with purchasing contacts, investigating and resolving customer problems with deliveries, contacting customers after sale to insure satisfaction, attending new product training as needed, developing and implementing plans and strategies for quickly developing their sales territory, articulating the value proposition of our products and services to convert prospects to customers, and proven success in ability to close new business. High-level understanding of radio concepts and a moderate understanding of general wireless technology required. Other duties as assigned. Education and / or experience : one year certificate from college or technical school in sales / communication technology; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses : Driver's License.
