Farm Hand And Property Maintenance Technician

The Farm Hand and Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily care of farm animals as well as the upkeep of the property and facilities. This role combines hands-on animal care with general maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation and appearance of the farm. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and monitoring livestock; maintaining barns, fences, and pastures; and performing routine property maintenance such as landscaping, equipment care, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, with a strong commitment to animal welfare and property upkeep.

Compensation : $15 - $17 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Feed, water, and monitor livestock on a daily schedule.
• Clean and maintain barns, stalls, and animal enclosures.
• Assist with seasonal farm tasks such as birthing, breeding, and herd management.
• Perform property maintenance, including fencing, gates, and pastures.
• Handle routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal.
• Conduct minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and farm infrastructure.
• Remove trees, trim branches, and clear debris from farm property.
• Maintain trails and paths, ensuring they are clear and well-kept.
