SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD / RELIEF SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD

Position will be open until filled.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The School Crossing Guard or Relief for School Crossing Guard will :

• Control and direct children safely through crosswalks
• Observe traffic
• Maintain time sheets, maintain attendance sheets, complete tracking records
• Be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have no convictions involving moral turpitude.
• Must be available for short notice calls to work.
• Hours : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am to 8 : 15 am, and 2 : 30 pm to 4 : 00 pm.
• This is an on-call position that requires the employee to provide a reliable automobile to transport crossing guard equipment to job site and cell phone to be reached for short notice calls to duty or calls for assistance in an emergency.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
