About The Position

Experience :

Must have critical care experience in a high-volume ER and Level 3 NICU.

One year of travel experience is required.

License :

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Certifications :

BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.

Must-Have :

Proficient experience with all treatment modalities.

Epic experience is required.

Familiarity with all modes of mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and nitric oxide delivery.

Experience with Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, 3100B, and Jet.

Only candidates with prior NICU and pediatrics experience will be considered.

Description :

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist with experience in pediatric and neonatal intensive care.

The role requires the ability to work with infants, neonates, and adolescents.

The schedule includes four 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every other weekend.

Three 12-hour shifts are available by request.

Must possess skills in aerosol setup, CPAP, BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and mechanical ventilation.

Experience with extubation, arterial blood gas interpretation, and pediatric critical care is essential.

Responsibilities include assisting in high-risk deliveries and tracheostomy care / management.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and utilizing high-frequency oscillators.

The daily patient census may vary, and interdisciplinary support is available within the unit.

Travelers must work one holiday per assignment, with specific requirements during winter holidays.

Applicants living within a certain distance from the facility will not be considered for the traveling role.

Return candidates must have a minimum separation period before reapplying.

Module completion is required within designated hours for orientation and training.

Compliance documentation is necessary prior to the start date.
