TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU / Critical Care RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536!

$2,232 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : ICU

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2 years of recent ICU experience, 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU

License : Compact or State License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

  • 2 years of recent ICU experience
  • 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with patients needing rapid response
  • PCU, Med / Surg, Tele experience

Description :

This position is for a PCU unit that may require floating to ICU.

Candidates must have 2 years of recent ICU experience and 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in a high acuity PCU.

No first-time travelers will be accepted.

The role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage patients who may need rapid response.

Experience in PCU, Med / Surg, and telemetry is necessary.

Candidates must possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Orientation to other transitional units will be provided.

Options for 36 or 48 hours per week contracts are available.

Local travelers within a specific radius will not be accepted.

Candidates will be required to float to ICU or other PCU units as needed.

A reference from a charge nurse or supervisor is required.

Compliance with mandatory certifications is expected.

Candidates must have a clean license record.

This role involves caring for acute progressive patients and boarders from the emergency department.

The ability to care for patients in a timely and effective manner is essential.

Candidates will participate in various support services available within the unit.

Modules and additional training will be provided as necessary during employment.

The candidate must adhere to all facility policies and procedures during their employment.
