We’re seeking a leader who possesses exceptional communication and education skills and a keen eye for web design. Your presentations are dynamic and inspiring, whether delivered virtually or in person.

You will have the opportunity to shine as a leader as you develop innovative training programs and forge meaningful relationships with academic institutions.

On a day-to-day basis, you will :

Lead & manage the Academic Partnerships team, showcasing Wix's website creation platform capabilities to students and faculty, guiding them in crafting their professional online presence

Lead Wix’s academic relationships within higher education, mainly in the US

Bring about partnerships with relevant institutions

Drive the cultivation and expansion of partnerships with higher education institutions through proactive outreach efforts and strategic planning

Develop and execute tailored workshops and presentations to meet the unique needs of our partners and learners, covering topics such as personal branding, portfolio design, entrepreneurship, eCommerce, and digital marketing

Provide strategic direction and mentorship to junior team members, empowering them to excel and contribute to their success

Personally conduct high-level coaching sessions with key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring the successful implementation of partnership initiatives

Travel to colleges and universities across the United States, primarily focusing on your designated region, to deliver training sessions to students and faculty (approximately 25% of your time)

Qualifications

Over 7 years of experience in an Academic Higher Education Partnerships role within a tech company

Over 2 years of experience managing a team

Deep understanding of current educational technologies, career development trends, and web design platforms

Experience in implementing tools & platforms in the high-education environment

Excellent branding and visual language-creating skills

High communication and presentation skills

Ability to meet different needs between the institutions and the capabilities platform

Ability to plan to bring the needs of the market to the product roadmap

Bonus points if you have previous experience in higher education teaching, career development leadership, or student coaching.

Additional Information

We are Wix's Academic Partnerships team. Our goal is to empower students nationwide to establish their online presence. Through innovative presentations, workshops, and personalized sessions, we equip students and faculty with the skills to create professional websites using Wix.

Approximate base compensation is $170,000 - 200,000 per year. In addition to base pay, you will receive company RSUs as part of the compensation package.

The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including the location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile, and ideal qualifications.
