Security Professional - Government Facility Patrol Full-Time
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols throughout the property, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating professionally with staff and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting security-related needs at the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and fellow Allied Universal team members.Complete detailed reports and logs in accordance with site and Allied Universal protocols.Assist with access control by verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.Support law enforcement and / or emergency personnel at the location when required, following site-specific guidelines.What We're Looking For :

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.A Guard Card or license is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
