My client is a leading North American producer of specialty chemicals. Their products are used in a wide range of applications, including food, personal care, home care, and industrial products. Job Description

• Manage and oversee the company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead emergency response, spill response, fire safety, and incident command team organization.
• Develop and manage personal safety programs, including training, auditing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Oversee regulatory compliance programs for hazardous waste, water / wastewater pretreatment, and air emissions tracking / reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies including OSHA, EPA, MassDEP, DHS, MWRA, and local authorities.
• Create and deliver training protocols to ensure employee awareness of safety, environmental policies, and compliance requirements.
• Support and manage projects with a focus on safety and regulatory improvements.
• Maintain and update systems such as MSDS / SDS management and documentation related to EHS compliance.
