About the role :
The Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across all company markets to ensure exceptional execution, safety, and customer experience. This role oversees field performance, operational standards, and team leadership with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and operational efficiency. The Director drives accountability, consistency, and excellence across production, service, and installation teams, ensuring each customer interaction reinforces Veridian's people-first mission.
What you'll do :
Lead, develop, and mentor market-level operational teams to achieve business goals and uphold Veridian standards.Own company-wide performance metrics including NPS, go-back rate, safety, quality, and on-time completion.Analyze operational data to identify trends, reduce warranty and service costs, and enhance first-time-right performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and HR to align field execution with business objectives.Develop and standardize best-practice processes for installation, production, and customer service.Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and customer experience.Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure performance standards and compliance with safety policies.Champion a safety-first culture, leading regular audits, training, and proactive risk mitigation.Monitor and report operational KPIs to the COO and executive leadership team.Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards in all markets.What we are looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field required (MBA preferred).8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, construction, or home services industries.Proven success managing multi-site field teams and achieving measurable performance improvements.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and drive actionable insights.Excellent leadership, communication, and change-management skills.Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build a high-performance, values-driven culture.Experience with CRM, scheduling, and reporting systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar).Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.PI1d3f00c2c4d7-30511-38931775
