Overview

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an additional BC/BE Pediatrician to join our established pediatric hospitalist and practitioner team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.

The Practice

• 30bed pediatric inpatient unit with an average daily census of 16-18
• Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery
• 16bed PICU staffed by a dedicated, Pediatrixaffiliated pediatric intensivist group
• Clinical responsibilities include:
• Pediatric inpatient ward coverage
• Newborn nursery examinations
• Emergency Department consultations
• Pediatric resident and medical student education
• Academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Renown Regional Medical Center is the only Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
