Job description

Position Purpose and Objectives

The marketing specialist bilingual position serves as a project coordinator for the marketing department and is responsible for managing marketing projects in support of the credit union’s Spanish language brand, Todos Unidos. Under direct supervision, assists in all aspects of Todos Unidos’ marketing programs. Responsible for marketing functions including, but not limited to : project coordination and management, copy development, editing, webpage creation, email and social media campaigns, and graphic design. Social media video creation and video editing skills a plus. Must be fluent in Spanish – as all content will be created exclusively in Spanish.

Major Duties and Essential Functions

Manages marketing projects including development and coordination with internal teams and external vendors including, but not limited to graphic designers, printers, writers, and agencies.

Manages detailed project schedules and ensure that projects adhere to objectives, budgets, and deadlines.

Provides feedback in creation of marketing materials focused on engaging the Hispanic / Latino community.

Write, proofread, edit, and review marketing materials for accuracy, style, brand voice, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Ensure consistent messaging, style and voice across all collateral materials to align with brand guidelines.

Collaborate with and provide input to internal teams on the development of collateral materials.

Adheres to corporate code of conduct and corporate vehicle, mileage and expense reimbursement policies and training requirements.

Works with department business owners on communication plans for various projects and oversees those projects ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.

MUST

have experience managing multiple projects with varying deadlines from start to finish. Must also have excellent communication and writing skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field and / or equivalent experience and certifications.

Experience

Minimum 1-5 years or more of related work experience. Prior marketing experience in a financial institution a plus. Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Acrobat Professional, Canva, and Hubspot experience is a plus. Must be fluent in Spanish.
