Description
Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the internal control framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policies.
Will work closely with the internal audit function to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions. Will play an active role supporting Business Transformation work to align necessary controls with processes, including the alignment of IT related controls as new technology is deployed.
Role requires strong analytical skills, attentions to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Develop and implement the internal control framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Design control activities tailored to address risks associated with financial reporting across all global reporting regions.
Identify and assess risks related to the organization’s operations and financial reporting.
Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and exposure to fraud, errors, or non-compliance.
Establish monitoring mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements as necessary.
Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistent implementation of internal controls in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelors Accounting required
7+ Years of experience in internal controls, internal audit. Strong understanding of COSO framework and risk assessment methodologies required
Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - External Agency / Certifier required
