ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Yuma, Arizona (85364)

Setting : Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Unit Size : 42 beds

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130

ICU Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state

Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital

Proficient with Epic EMR

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Experience managing ventilators, sedation, sepsis, pressors, DKA, cardiac, CHF, and respiratory cases

Skilled in titrating critical care drips (vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, anticoagulants, insulin)

Ability to float to other units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a dynamic ICU setting

Monitor and manage complex cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions

Titrate and administer a variety of critical care medications and drips

Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Participate in rapid response and code situations

Float to other units as required, ensuring safe nurse-patient ratios

Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with all certifications
