Director Of Sales
We're seeking an additional Director of Sales to join our team and grow our pipeline. This is an individual contributor sales role focused on driving new business and maintaining an account management customer base.
The primary responsibility is to develop and expand the Hollingsworth solutions offering within our chosen industries in North America. Experience selling into the Automotive, Aerospace or Industrial verticals for contract logistics and value-added services will be very advantageous.
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing long-term strategic relationships with prospects / customers up to and including the C-level.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aimed at identifying the top regional / industry opportunities and expanding business to new accounts.
- Generate effective leads and opportunities from the territory plan to drive sufficient demand to achieve sales target.
- Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within the customer.
- Understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally and financially).
- Understand the customer's buying process and identifies all influences, relationships and intimately understand their requirements.
- Qualify opportunities and drive them through the sales process, maintaining an accurate pipeline of current and future opportunities.
- Leverage company resources (operations, engineering, pricing and executive support) to assist in developing accounts and winning deals.
Special Skills, Experience or Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor's degree, in Business or Supply Chain preferredMust have at least 10 years 3PL experience, preferably in Contract Logistics and Warehousing, of which 5 years' experience in successfully selling complex solutions to customers. Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial or Retail vertical focus an advantage.Exposure to and working knowledge of advanced manufacturing and supply chain models i.e. Lean manufacturing, JIT and JIS supply, kitting, vendor managed inventory, specialized packaging, fastener management, distribution center management, E-commerce fulfillmentMust have been through formal sales training or demonstrate experience in sales training techniques. Working knowledge of a CRM systemProven track record of having consistently achieved on a sales quota relevant to our businessExperience of negotiating multi-year complex contractsKey customer relationships in the Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial or Retail sectors advantageousExcellent verbal, written and visual / presentation communication skillsMeasurements of Performance
