Position Overview :

Beacon Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, organized, and efficient Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. This role involves a combination of patient care and administrative tasks, ensuring that all patients receive timely, professional, and respectful care. The Medical Assistant will assist physicians with patient care, manage patient records, perform clinical procedures, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Patient Care Support :

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prepare patients for exams, collect medical histories, and document vital signs.
• Assist physicians and nurses during exams, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Perform routine lab tests, EKGs, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by the physician.
• Provide patients with instructions based on physician’s directions.
• Maintain a clean and stocked exam room, including sterilizing equipment.
• Triaging patient calls, assessing urgency, and coordinating appropriate care.
• Schedule patient procedures and follow-up on hospital admissions.
• Manage medication refills and monitor patient compliance with prescribed treatments.
