Essential Duties :

Follows the resident care / treatment plans and, in accordance with community policy and procedure, records any changes in a resident's physical, psychosocial, mental, or emotional status.

Understands residents’ charts, doctor’s orders and residents’ plan of care.

Complies with long-term care federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.

Follow standard precautions and work within OSHA guidelines.

Ensures that residents and their families receive the best possible care in a manner that respects each person's rights and needs while also being kind, sensitive, and respectful.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, assist residents with their activities of daily living (ADL) in a way that promotes their safety and comfort.

Adheres to all shift routines, policies, and procedures, including those relating to accurate vital sign, weight, bathing, clothing, grooming, and toileting performance, as well as the use of speech, language, or other appropriate communication tools.

Immediately responds to resident call lights for assigned residents and voluntarily helps the team respond to call lights for unassigned residents.

Assists with transfers and turns, lifts, positions, and transports residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs in accordance with the care plan.

Work Hours & Benefits :

Standard shifts : Day shift, Evening shift, Overnight shift

Weekly schedule :

Sunday through Saturday, Rotating weekends, Weekend availability
