Role Description : Packaging Design Engineer

As a packaging designer you will be fully immersed in the design process from beginning to end by conceptualizing, designing, testing, and executing a sample for packaging materials that is both functional and practical.

Collaboration is key, working closely with clients and internal colleagues to create packages that are cost-effective, functional and efficient.

Job Responsibilities :

• samples for clients using Artios CAD
• APASS & ISTA Testing
• and size samples using CAD tables
• client bills of material via portals
• performance packaging testing using ISTA approved testing equipment
• sales team at client meetings
• pallet patterns using CAPE
• production samples
• responsibilities as necessary

Manage development with vendors and customers

Hours, Pay, Benefits and More

Location : New Albany, Ohio

Hours : Full-time Mon-Fri 9 : 00am 5 : 00pm

Salary : DOE + semi-annual Bonus

Position Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Packaging or relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Service orientation : Makes extra effort to satisfy customer and company needs

Strong Time Management Skills

Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment

Experience with Artios CAD, CAPE, Microsoft Office
