Strategic Business Analyst

We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to support business operations within a high-revenue country. This role involves delivering complex analysis, reporting, and forecasting to drive informed decision-making. The individual will serve as a key business partner for business planning and analysis (BPA), providing valuable insights and decision support to the management team. The position may also involve coordinating a team of specialists to ensure alignment with business goals and performance targets.

Key responsibilities include :

• Ensuring the operational conversion of the BPA strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business
• Providing management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests, and ensuring timely and accurate information gathering
• Performing analysis to evaluate risks or opportunities; making recommendations to mitigate these risks
• Managing and providing financial analysis and decision-making support for an investment / project in a domain
• Ensuring ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured, and driving early warning for re-direction of resources with business partners
• Providing accurate operational information and advice to support the annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and strategic planning processes
• Ensuring integrity of data provided by commercial teams, and providing value-added; providing recommendations on forecast accuracy improvement
• Providing well-managed and quality financial analysis to improve business case proposals and profitability tracking
• Continually improving and streamlining existing management reporting processes and supporting the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet the changing demands of the business
• May supervise the performance and development of a small team of BPA specialists
• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
• Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Essential requirements include :

Novartis compensation and benefit summary : The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $93,800.00 and $174,200.00; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1 / 1 / 25 through 12 / 31 / 25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
