Location : 10421 E. CR. 100 N. Indianapolis, IN 46234, located on the border of Avon and Indianapolis, IN.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays!

Specialty : Family Medicine

Primary Responsibilities :

• Prepare patient and treatment rooms; sterilize medical equipment
• Room patients, gather health history, and measure / document vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight)
• Document patient care and medical history using NextGen electronic medical record (EMR) software
• Assist physicians with minor, in-office procedures
• Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls, and manage necessary paperwork
• Perform CLIA waived testing
• Administer injections or treatments and conduct routine laboratory tests
• Maintain all Practice Health and Safety Standards
• Achieve Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) within 9 months of employment
