Title : Industrial Maintenance Technician
Shift : Second and Third Shifts (Candidate must be open to either shift)
Salary : $23.00 - $30.00 / hour based on experience, plus a $0.25 / hour shift differential for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM, and an additional $0.25 / hour for hours worked on Sunday. Salary is dependent on experience and maintenance status.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Role :
Our client is seeking dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technicians to keep their high-volume production machinery running smoothly and safely. This role is essential to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of the 24 / 7 manufacturing facility through both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities :
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, pneumatics, and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to mechanical and electrical malfunctions
- Locate sources of equipment problems by observing operation and using precision testing instruments
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using various tools
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
- Read and troubleshoot using electrical schematics for 110 VAC, 240 / 480 VAC 3 phase systems
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to ensure team continuity
Industrial Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships :
This role reports directly to the Shift Maintenance Supervisor. This position has no direct reports.

Must be open to working either a Second or Third Shift and available to work weekendsDemonstrate reliable transportation and an unwavering commitment to excellent attendancePossess knowledge and ability to safely and proficiently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and technical problem-solving on industrial equipmentBe skilled at operating welding / brazing equipment, lathes, milling machines, and other shop equipmentHave the ability to routinely stoop, bend, reach, and climb ladders / scaffolds, often working in cramped spacesPossess visual and hearing acuity sufficient to detect equipment malfunctions and warning devicesMust be willing to join the union upon hire and pay all associated initiation fees and duesNext Steps :

Additional Information :
Physical Demands : This role requires long periods of standing, walking, and being on your feet. It is physically demanding and requires motor skills for mobility and quick reflexes.Working Conditions : The work environment can be very hot, especially in the summer, with temperatures upwards of 100+ degrees on the production floor.Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) : Due to food safety regulations, technicians must adhere to strict GMPs, including wearing hairnets, earplugs, and beard guards at all times on the production floor. No jewelry of any kind, excessive makeup, false fingernails, or strong perfumes / colognes are permitted.Union Membership : Candidates must join the union from the first day of employment, which includes a one-time $150 initiation fee (paid in $25 increments) and monthly union dues of $54.50.Pre-Employment Screening : A successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen (including THC) is required. Employment is contingent upon favorable results.Probationary Period : There is a 90 working-day probationary period for all new hires.
