General Overview :

A System Administrator is a professional who plays an important role in maintaining organizational policies to ensure integrity of computer systems. A system administrator ensures that technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting company requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Meeting with supervisor to discuss system needs / improvements.
• Managing Windows, Linux or Mac systems
• Troubleshooting operating system issues.
• Group policy and Active Directory management
• Training staff on newly deployed group policies and or software
• systems.
• Fixing hardware and software issues related to system admin.
• Managing / maintaining virtual environment
• Creating / managing / maintaining virtual machines / servers
• Managing / maintaining physical servers
• Backup and restore systems as needed
• Maintaining server rooms organized and clean
• Maintaining Monitoring systems (Zabbix, Graylog, etc.)
• Monitoring systems for failures
• Manage and support systems through MDM
• Manage and support endpoints / anti-virus software
• Manage and maintain inventory
• Managing system administrator related projects
• Creating / Maintaining documentation for Procedures, Policies and Forms
