Systems Administrator II (Onsite role - Baytown, TX)

Role :
Primary responsibilities : Maintenance and configuration of Microsoft 365, software images, and Citrix Virtual Apps. Basic and advanced Network Administration, System application configuration, software updates, reporting, and Help Desk escalation (HelpIS). Adheres to all policies, procedures, and standard practices of CRCU, as well as, to Federal / State Laws and Regulations pertaining to IT.

Ensures all server centric applications are kept up-to-date, performs all Server Centric application updates. General Software administration to ensure proper procedures and processes for Applications in the CRCU environment. Establishes self as the Subject Matter Specialist for applications in the environment as needed to assist end users. Applications include, but are not limited to :
Responsible for implementation and upkeep of the Microsoft 365 environment. This includes, but is not limited to :

Help Desk Escalation Point :

Performs Citrix Monitoring and oversight to ensure issues are addressed properly and proper systems optimizations are set up appropriately.
This includes the following :

Creates and maintains images via Creates and maintains images through SmartDeploy. Configures, troubleshoots, and installs all client related devices such as workstations, thin clients, printers, sigpads, etc without supervision. Researches and develops as needed new processes and policies for software implementation via PDQ Deploy Implements best practices with thorough understanding of network interconnectivity, and current Windows server environment for Active Directory Group Policy administration.

Performs all other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements :
1.
Informs VP of IT and affected operational areas of any data processing service interruptions.

Takes ownership of general Microsoft 365 environment.
3.
Sustains general base administration of the Windows environment.
4.
Takes ownership of Server Application updates to ensure all applications are kept up-to-date
5.
Performs scheduled tasks and routine system administration / management in a timely manner as set forth in the pre-determined schedule with minimum supervision.

Communicates effectively with all SR IT staff.

Maintains a professional work environment and team focus on a continual basis.

Demonstrates an understanding of and follows the requirements of all regulation compliance including but not limited to those Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions. Employee shall be trained annually in BSA / AML compliance.
Knowledge and Skills :
Experience
2+ years experience administration of software images, and 3+ years experience working in a System Administration role preferred
Education
(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. May require periodic travel. There is exposure to potential hazardous conditions such as robbery. Employees are to receive detailed instructions and procedures to follow in order to minimize risk.
