CONTROL PANEL TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY :

Servtech, is looking for a Control Panel Technician that will be responsible for the construction of basic electrical control panels in a safe and timely manner with the intent of improving electrical abilities.

Servtech Inc., a Roeslein company, is a manufacturer of industrial prefabricated Edge Data Centers, Power Distribution Centers, E Houses, Pumping stations, metering stations, custom variable speed drive panels, PLC Panels, Motor Control Centers, and other custom engineered products. We integrate these components into a finished system that are tested at our own facility and made ready for our client’s specific needs.

Our markets include Bio-Gas, Alternative Energy, Mission Critical (Data Centers), Mining, Pollution Control, Oil and Gas, and other industrial applications.

CONTROL PANEL TECHNICIAN COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$25.00 - $27.51 per hour

CONTROL PANEL TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Drill, tap, cut, and grind electrical enclosures and back panels.

Build basic electrical systems including, but not limited to control stations, and junction boxes

Ability to learn how to proficiently interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.

Use basic electrical test equipment.

Run electrical wires in the most effective route to minimize wire used and for uniformity and neatness.

Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.

Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance.

Responsible for area housekeeping

Participate in the processes of continuous improvement including efforts to meet company smart goals.

Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will, regularly, be required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear, and work in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required.

SKILL / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma or G.E.D. is strongly preferred.

Associates Degree in Electrical, Control Systems Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

0-2 years of electrical experience is preferred but not required.

High attention to detail.

Must work well under pressure.

Strong math skills are preferred.

Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts is required.

Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
