ABOUT US

The Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces. Schaumburg Park District is home to the Schaumburg Golf Club, a beautifully manicured 27-hole course. The 27-hole course has hosted U.S. Open Qualifying, Illinois State Amateur Qualifying, Illinois Open Qualifying, IPGA Pro-Junior Championship, just to name a few.

JOB SUMMARY

The Golf Maintenance Lead works alongside the Director of Agronomy & Superintendent of Golf Course Maintenance to supervise the daily maintenance and improvements of the Schaumburg Golf Club. This includes golf course greens, tees, fairways, rough, and irrigation systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in golf course maintenance is required. NOTE : Applicants must possess requisite physical ability to perform the essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

SCHEDULING & PAY

This is a year-round position. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5am - 1pm. Schedule may change in the off-season. Overtime work may be required. Target hiring rate is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, DOQ (depending on qualifications).
