Public Relations and Communications Manager

LHH is working with their client looking to add a talented PR and Communications Manager to the team. In this role, you will help craft communications for various external channels including press releases, talking points, social media content, web content and more to support brand awareness and audience engagement.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, be a talented writer and have strong experience with social media and other external communication channels.

Responsibilities :

• proofread, and edit various external communications such as talking points, web content, social media and more.
• weekly press coverage reporting for the brand and assist in planning and implementation of various engagements / projects such as press events.
• content and maintain a calendar / schedule for posting on corporate social media channels.
• cross-functionally to develop and execute a communication strategy for the organization that drives brand awareness and audience engagement while supporting the company’s business objectives.
• website traffic and engagement on social media channels to provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
• to tap into resources both inside and outside the organization such as executive leadership, SMEs, product leaders, customers and more for the purpose of developing content and stories.

Requirements :

• years of professional experience
• Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
• writing skills for various channels-samples will be requested.
• versed in social media best practices, platforms, and reporting / analytics tools.
• communication and project management skills.
• with graphic design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools are a plus.
