About The Position

Location : Alexandria, Louisiana, USA Specialty : Respiratory Therapist Type : Travel Schedule : 3x12s Nights Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana offering a weekly total of $2,060 . This night shift (3x12s) role is ideal for therapists experienced in acute and critical care settings who are ready to make a difference in a supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory care treatments to patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders
  • Manage ventilators and monitor patient responses
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as ABGs and pulmonary function tests
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses on care plans and interventions
  • Respond to emergency situations, including code blues and rapid responses
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols

    • Qualifications

  • Active RRT license (Louisiana or eligible for licensure)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in hospital-based respiratory care
  • Proficient with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and critical care protocols
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently in high-acuity settings
