ICU Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 17 weeks

Shifts : 12-hour nights (6 : 45pm - 6 : 45am)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Unit Size : 38 beds

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (may vary)

Holiday Requirement : 1 summer / spring & 1 winter holiday

Charting System : MEDITECH 6.1

Scrub Color : Caribbean blue

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780 - $1,910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS or ASLS

Strong clinical background in cardiac care, post-cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post-code patients

Proficient with critical care drips, balloon pumps, CRRT, FlowTrac, and ECMO patient care

Ability to float to any ICU unit within the division

Must follow hospital dress code : natural hair color, no fake nails / shellac, no facial piercings, no visible tattoos

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting

Monitor and manage patients after cardiac and interventional radiology procedures

Administer and titrate critical care drips; operate advanced life support equipment (ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, Hi Flow)

Collaborate with intensivists, critical care nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams

Document patient care using MEDITECH EMR

Float between ICU units as needed

Participate in orientation and ongoing training for ICU nursing jobs

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
