We’re an ambitious NYC restaurant making burekas that stop traffic. We’re gearing up for an exciting new chapter—rotating flavors and high-profile collabs with chefs, influencers, and cultural figures. This is your chance to join on the ground floor and work directly with Chef Ben Siman Tov (@Bengingi) to create products the city will soon be talking about.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Kitchen & Culinary Manager to lead our BOH team and daily production. You’ll be cooking alongside the crew, helping develop recipes, managing food costing, purchasing, and vendor relationships. You’ll also collaborate with Chef Ben to plan and execute our upcoming flavor drop program and menu R&D. Experience with MarginEdge is a major plus.
What You’ll Do
Lead daily kitchen operations & team
Develop and test new recipes for future flavor drops and collaborations
Work closely with Chef Ben (@Bengingi) on menu planning & tastings
Manage food costing, purchasing, and vendor relationships
Maintain product & recipe databases (MarginEdge experience = huge plus)
Oversee tastings and quality control
Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and HR processes as needed
Act as the bridge between BOH and FOH

What We’re Looking For
Culinary degree or 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role
Strong cooking skills & passion for recipe development
Experience in food costing, purchasing, and vendor management
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
MarginEdge experience strongly preferred
Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for prolonged periods (8+ hours)
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions
Comfortable working in hot, cold, and noisy environments
Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires
