Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operations. As we continue to expand in New York, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to support our newest opening in the Flatiron District, along with our upcoming locations in New York.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager with strong restaurant industry experience to lead all HR functions for our New York locations. This role will be responsible for supporting our growing team across current and future NYC restaurants, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and talent development. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic and hands-on approach to ensuring we attract, retain, and support the best talent as we continue to expand.

Responsibilities :

HR Leadership & Regional Support

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all New York City restaurant locations, providing strategic and hands-on support to managers and employees
  • Partner with the Director of Human Resources to align HR practices with business goals and growth initiatives across the region
  • Lead HR support for new restaurant openings, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Address and resolve employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices
  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, or workplace concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including NYC-specific regulations (e.g., Fair Workweek, Paid Sick Leave, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support a strong compliance culture across locations
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for both hourly and management roles, balancing high-volume needs with quality hiring standards
  • Develop talent pipelines and sourcing strategies to support rapid growth and seasonal fluctuations
  • Partner with operations teams to forecast staffing needs and reduce turnover through effective hiring and onboarding
  • Onboarding, Training & Development

  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team and understand company values and expectations
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs focused on compliance, leadership, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with restaurant leaders to identify development opportunities and support career pathing for high-potential employees
  • HR Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Utilize HRIS and ATS tools to maintain accurate employee records, track hiring activity, and ensure data integrity
  • Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and engagement to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on regional HR performance and workforce insights
  • Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the company’s values and commitment to hospitality
  • Act as a cultural ambassador during new openings, helping to instill team cohesion and shared values from day one
  • Support initiatives that drive employee engagement, recognition, and well-being
  • Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of HR experience   in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with multi-unit or regional oversight strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of FOH and BOH roles, staffing structures, and the unique HR challenges within the restaurant industry
  • Proven ability to manage   high-volume hourly recruitment   while also supporting the hiring and development of management-level talent
  • Experience handling   employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and performance management   across multiple locations
  • Hands-on experience with   HRIS and applicant tracking systems   (ATS), as well as other HR and recruiting tools
  • Exceptional   communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills   with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Ability to   navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting both established and newly opened locations
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)   strongly preferred, given the diverse NYC workforce
