Job descriptionJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to New Jersey Bar. 2-4 years of experience in Defense Litigation; Casino / Hospitality experience preferred. Strong understanding of Employment Law. Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required. Overview
Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney - in Casino Defense Litigation / Employment Law to join their team in Atlantic City, NJ.
Pay Range : $85,000 - $100,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
- Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations.
- Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
- Prepares for and conducts depositions.
- Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
