The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the manufacturing engineering function—developing and optimizing production processes, improving quality and efficiency, and managing a team of engineers. This role ensures seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and meet strategic business goals.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, ideally in chip-cutting or similar environments
- Proven team leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access a plus
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Commitment to safety-first workplace culture

Process Design & OptimizationDevelop and continuously refine manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and improve throughput.Project ManagementLead end-to-end engineering projects—define timelines, manage budgets, allocate resources, and deliver measurable results.Direct and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers. Provide technical guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.Quality Assurance & ImprovementEnforce quality control processes, proactively resolve quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Cost ControlAnalyze production and labor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement process improvements for financial efficiency.Data-Driven Decision-MakingMonitor KPIs (cycle time, scrap rates, yield, uptime) and apply insights to optimize performance.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective product transitions and process scalability.Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and eliminate waste.Equipment OversightManage equipment maintenance, upgrades, and new acquisitions to support production reliability.J-18808-Ljbffr
