Director of CRM Technology

Position Summary : The Director of CRM Technology is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, implementation, and optimization of the company's CRM platforms and related technologies that support a global salesforce. This role will ensure that CRM systems are designed and maintained to enable seamless customer engagement, improve sales and service effectiveness, and deliver actionable insights across the organization. The Director will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and IT leadership to align CRM technology investments with business objectives, while driving adoption and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership

Define and own the CRM technology strategy, roadmap, and architecture to support business growth and customer experience goals.

  • Ensure CRM platforms integrate effectively with marketing automation, analytics, ERP, customer support, and other enterprise systems.
  • Act as a thought leader in CRM innovation, evaluating emerging tools, trends, and capabilities to recommend improvements.
  • Platform Management & Optimization
  • Oversee administration, configuration, customization, and governance of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or equivalent).

  • Drive data quality initiatives, including data integrity, standardization, security, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Manage platform performance, scalability, and uptime to ensure reliability for end-users.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and IT to translate business needs into CRM requirements.

  • Ensure CRM workflows and automation drive pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Champion user adoption through training, enablement, and change management strategies.
  • Team & Vendor Management
  • Build and lead a high-performing CRM technology team of administrators, developers, and analysts.

  • Manage vendor relationships with CRM platform providers, system integrators, and consultants.
  • Oversee budget planning, licensing, and contract negotiations for CRM-related technologies.
  • Analytics & Insights
  • Enable advanced reporting and dashboards that empower leadership with real-time insights.

  • Support customer segmentation, campaign targeting, and personalization initiatives.
  • Leverage CRM data to drive measurable improvements in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in CRM technology management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in leading CRM platforms and strong knowledge of CRM integrations, APIs, middleware, and data architecture.
  • Experience with marketing automation, customer analytics, and AI / ML-enabled CRM solutions preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving CRM adoption, leading change management and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • We are seeking a dynamic Director of CRM Technology to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our CRM platforms. This role will ensure our systems empower Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

    What You'll Do :

  • Own the CRM technology strategy, roadmap, and integrations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into CRM solutions.
  • Lead system administration, governance, and data quality initiatives.
  • Drive adoption through user training, enablement, and change management.
  • Deliver actionable insights through reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Manage a high-performing CRM team and vendor relationships.
  • What We're Looking For :

  • 10+ years in CRM technology, with 5+ in leadership.
  • Hands-on expertise with major CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data architecture.
  • Proven success driving adoption and delivering business impact.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
