We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist and lead, as required, the efforts to control and improve processes and systems currently in use, and to bring new technologies to Fender in the search for Better Product, considering the Best Time to process, adhering to the current and new Environmental laws to continue delivering product to customers as scheduled.
You will also be responsible for creating systems (manual and automation systems) and able to trouble shoot equipment and product diligently.
About the Job : Lead and coach A3 problem solving efforts related to process opportunitiesProvide technical support to team members, application engineers and production personnel and CNC Equipment as requiredSustain control of parameters in ANDERSON and HAAS platformsOptimize milling programs via MasterCamAssist in the documentation of regulatory information related to new processes or process changes (Work instructions (EWI), Visual aids critical to quality (EVAQ), Standard Work (SWI), paint recipes and process control formats)Identify, develop and implement new technologies at manufacturing processEstablish processes and procedures to optimize cost and quality of manufacturing methodsDesign fixtures and tools to optimize production throughput and quality assuranceSupport continuous improvement projects and assist in process development / qualificationProvide technical support to track data for main detractors of yieldImplement, monitoring, control and / or logging systems with the Process Technician, and other designated members as directed by the Director of EngineeringParticipate and promote process characterization projectsAdditional duties as assigned What you need : BA / BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Electronics EngineeringMinimum of two to four (2 -4) years of experience within a manufacturing engineering roleHands on experience on software applications, i.
e., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Master CAM, MS Office, Minitab and SAPTechnical experience on using CNC machinery, CNC Coding languages, lathes, drill press;
grinders and other tool room equipment is requiredCross functional experience in manufacturing processesExperience with equipment validation and process qualificationBilingual English / Spanish is a plusLean-sigma knowledge and Green Belt / Black Belt a plus
